Unlosable metal knobs


There is no quicker way to render a stand useless than to lose fixing screws and adjustment knobs. So we made all knobs unlosable – you simply can’t turn them off the stand anymore. This was a challenge, because you still want to have all parts replaceable. Yet we made it. The knobs on the TOURING series are unlosable and replaceable.

The knob always provides sufficient grip, no matter if it’s wet, dusty or if the user is wearing gloves. Also the size of the knobs plays a huge role – the bigger the better because you have more leverage, but you don’t want it to look clumsy either. The design of this knob hides its size very nicely and maintains a very elegant overall look. Same goes for the height adjustment clutch – the very sleek quasi-triangular design is not only extremely ergonomic but provides superior grip compared to round clutches.

The tilt and fastening mechanism of the boom is a real highlight – it is completely opened and closed with three quarters of a turn – that really helps save energy, time and money. The boom shaft is particularly long – contributing to a higher boom stability.

The real trick on the speaker stand is our LockPin technology. A spring-loaded pin inside the stand automatically locks into the holes of the vertical tube. The pin has a chamfer on the bottom – that means you can just pull the top bar up without having to push a button, you just have to release the set screw. Having reached the desired height, tighten the set screw to secure everything. To lower the stand, just lift the weight slightly and press the release button. Quick, easy and safe.
